Sue trained as an oboist and jazz pianist at the Interlochen Arts Academy, then earned a degree in Jazz Studies at Jersey City State College. Upon graduation with highest distinction at age 19, Sue recognized if she were to succeed as a composing artist, she would benefit from learning the music business by working in-house at a music publisher. And, so it went for over 20 years. . .she accepted invitations to work at several music houses in wholesale and retail sales distribution; customer service; promotion; copyright and licensing administration; print production; editorial production; film score production; and music design. Sometimes, employers created a new position for Sue in their organization to strengthen the team.
Currently, Sue curates several play lists heard by patrons in over 16,000 venues each month. In addition, her engraved editions are performed by the world’s best musicians.
