Last Monday’s commute into the city was interrupted by the bombing at Times Square. The bus I was riding diverted to Seacaucus Junction to allow everyone to continue their journey via train.

In my case, I headed back home to work for the day. My husband, who served as a British junior soldier in Northern Ireland, was especially pleased, given his history, to welcome his wife home. What a lovely experience, as ever, to receive his welcome.

Nothing more to share about this date, but thought it worth a mention, for the record.
